Win a Weeks Holiday in St Ives

Raffle Tickets are £2.00  Click here

This fabulous prize has been donated by a very generous owner and you can see from the photos below it is well worth winning.

Driftwood is a studio cottage which is converted from the bottom floor of a Traditional Fishermans Home in beautiful St Ives, Cornwall. It used to be the Old Net & Sail Cellar but is now a comfy, cosy bolthole where you are invited to stay and recharge your batteries IF you win the raffle!

The cottage is over 200 years old and has a huge beam running through it together with original granite walls.

It is compact but has everything you will need for a lovely holiday. There is a double bedroom and a lounge diner which also has a double sofa bed and a single futon if needed. The bathroom has an over the bath shower and the kitchen is extremely well equipped with a washer/dryer, microwave, built in hob and cooker and everything you could need to whip up a feast if you decide to eat in. All you need to take with you is linen for the bed and towels/tea towels.

The lounge has a TV/DVD/CD player and there is Freeview ad also a good selection of DVd's for you to enjoy. The Captains Chest also has a good selection of games/jigsaws which you are welcome to use - have a rummage! The bookshelves are also filled with numerous Cornish themed books.
The Cottage is never cold as it is sort of underground at the back - the road to the rear is on a higher level - and there is also a combi boiler which supplies abundant hot water and there are radiators in each room.

There is no parking space or garden - these are very rare in the Older part of St Ives but there is a public car park 100 yards from your front door and you can access 2 of the best beaches within a minute of walking outside.
Driftwood is situated in Island Road which is in the older part of St Ives known as Downalong.
If you have never visited St Ives before you are truly missing out on one of the jewels in Cornwalls Crown. It is a truly cosmopolitan seaside town with many excellent restaurants, 'hostelrys', and a wonderful range of shops.
For those of you who like being a bit arty then The Tate and Barbara Hepworth Museum are also worthy of your time - passes for both are in Driftwood for Raffle winner to use.
It goes without saying that Doggy Friends are very welcome - how could you go without taking your bestest friend along? We only ask that they do not go on the beds or furniture.
Driftwood is also completely non smoking.

The Winning Raffler is welcome to pick a week from October 2009 - May 2010. Please note that we do have several bookings already in place, especially for the school holidays and Bank holidays, and we must honour these. We will do our very best to accommodate your requested date but cannot promise that all weeks in this time span are available.
Good Luck!
